Fast Feet Sports Academy Vision and Philosophy
All staff are referred to as Coaches, all children are referred to as Teammates, and everyone develops respect for others and their love of their chosen sport.
Fast Feet Sports Academy will provide an active, safe, and stimulating before/after school program for children who do not want to just sit in a daycare. We offer multiple sports activities in a unique environment while teaching Respect, Manners, Appreciation and Discipline. Our Coaches encourage a love for being active, interactive and appreciation for their teammates. We will introduce our teammates to multiple sports while developing a core for their individual speed, agility, balance, and confidence. Being on their feet playing and not looking down at electronics is a staple of our program. We have created a unique culture that does not exist in the Richmond area. “We are All Teammates” is the focal point of coaches at the Academy. Teammates can not be bullies because they will have the guidance to work together and learn to become each others' support system (teammates). We will focus on multi-sport activities that stimulate a child’s interest and enjoyment. A strong coaching emphasis every day is to appreciate others sports that you may not play. Give a solid effort, have fun and show respect for all your teammates.
We want each Teammate to develop confidence and pride in themselves while enjoying their activities and gaining appreciation for their teammates and players. They will have the opportunity to gain extra touches and practice in their sport that they do not get at other facilities or in a daycare. European children have more access to training after school; in the United States our players typically have to wait for team practice or separate specialized training. Here at Fast Feet Sports Academy, we bring those lost touches to life each day in a fun and continuously changing environment.

'Know the Why' and they learn a reason and ultimately the lesson”.
~Coach Joe
My coaching philosophy is “to encourage and challenge players". I believe if a player knows ‘why’ they are doing something they learn faster. Don’t just instruct them to do it, encourage them to ask why and figure out why.
We will Create a positive and continuously changing environment and curriculum to hold your child’s interest and keep them active and happy.

About Coach Joe
Fast Feet Sports Academy was founded and created by Coach Joe Parker.
Coach Joe played multiple sports as a child, through high school, and into college. He was an athlete all year long since an early age, playing soccer, baseball, basketball, track, cross country, wrestling, and karate. He began coaching and received his first coaching certificate as a youth assistant at the age of 12. Joe was a youth referee and youth soccer coach as well as a kids karate instructor at Tang Soo Doo Karate Academy where he earned his second degree Black Belt.
Joe has a USSF D soccer coach license and has coached soccer in the Powhatan and Richmond area for 16 years. He played soccer through high school and was then a Regional Sponsored soccer player in South Jersey with ACC. Joe also played for Sands Hotel & Casino in the Atlantic City casino competition for two years in which he played on the pitch and in the sand before moving to Virginia 25 years ago. With his love of soccer Coach Joe is still playing men's indoor and outdoor soccer.
Joe also coached U12 thru U18 baseball players for burst and speed on base running that included proper sliding and pop up. He currently trains college bound soccer players on technical skills, speed and balance.
He was a trainer and gym manager for VCU at the MCV campus gym for two years while attending VCU. Joe has a love for athletics, multiple sports, and coaching which led him to develop this unique program. He has a goal to pass along his passion for sports and give young athletes a chance to gain additional training and enjoyment in a positive and supportive academy.
